In the spirit of the fast approaching holidays we here at The Goblin Beat are giving away a free copy of the Dungeon! board game from Wizards of the Coast. Dungeon! was originally released in 1975 by TSR and has the distinction of having Gary Gygax as one of the creators. The game was just re-released earlier this year and now you can have a copy for free!
To win you need to live somewhere in the contiguous 48 states here in the USA and leave a comment below. You will need to like us on Facebook and/or follow us on twitter so that we can contact you if you are the winner. Also make sure we can figure out who you are based on your comment by using the same name you use on Facebook or including your @TwitterName in the comment.
The contest is over on November 10th at Midnight Eastern Time so get your entries in and good luck. The winner will be chosen at random within 48 hours of the contest ending and notified during the following week. Don’t forget to have everyone in your gaming group enter for better chances.
And the winner is…Azure Blades, which was one of the Crimson Bastard submissions, so according to the rules the winner of the t-shirt is the fan submission with the most votes, which was David Ruttka with his submission of “Orc Ropers”.
Congratulations to David. We’ll let him pick out his shirt and if he sends us a picture of himself wearing it we’ll put it up on here or our Facebook page.
Be on the lookout for our next contest!
In an upcoming episode of Depths of Insanity, our ongoing 4th edition D&D campaign, the heroes are tasked with coming up with a name for their adventuring group. So far the only name they have come up with is ‘The Azure Blades’ but before we settle permanently on a name we want to know what you think.
If you can come up with a good name for our adventuring group just leave it in the comments of this post. If we get any good entries we will set up a poll on the site. Whoever ends up with the winning entry gets a free Crimson Bastards t-shirt! If we end up picking a name that we came up with (like Azure Blades) then we will choose the t-shirt winner at random from all comments.
So let us hear your ideas about our group name and good luck!
We here at Crimson Bastards are pleased to announce a new art contest. Simply email us an original piece of artwork created by you and inspired in some way by Crimson Bastards and you could win a shiny new board game courtesy of RPGShop.com.
The contest will run from now until next Wednesday (May 2, 2012) at midnight with a winner being chosen and notified via email sometime on the following Saturday. Your submission should be in some way related to Crimson Bastards but other than that you are free to choose what to draw for yourself. You could create a drawing of any/all of the characters in our Depths of Insanity campaign, or a particular scene from the podcast or perhaps attempt to create a new CB symbol or flag. Send your submissions to firstname.lastname@example.org
